Festive Evening
Inauguration of the DOG Foundation “Stiftung Auge”

Enjoy a wonderful evening at the axica, an outstanding event location next to the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin’s most famous symbol and the new American Embassy at the Pariser Platz. It is part of the DZ Bank building, built by the congenial American architect Frank O. Gehry.
He himself stated about this expressionist masterpiece:“The best thing I’ve ever done.” In this appealing atmosphere we will introduce the
DOG Foundation “Stiftung Auge”. We will also take the opportunity to pay tribute to outstanding young ophthalmologists: The three best German graduates of this year’s EBO Exam will be honoured. Furthermore, the President will ceremoniously present the Promotional
Award and the new Julius-Springer Award.
Enjoy fine dining and great music from the “Orchestre Palais des Fous” and meet old and new friends.

€ 70 per person
(incl. live music, food, drinks and bus transfer from the
Estrel Hotel)
